Wellcome back to my blog! Until now I have been faced to a lot of information, teaching methods and so many new things that honestly I had no idea they existed. First of all I never came across of this word let along knowing the meaning. When I heard that last week I was scared and sad because I didn't know what was going to happen and how this class was going to go. Surprisingly it went better than I expected. Do you want to know why? I thought I wouldn't do anything cause I had no information about classes like this. But as the teacher posted constantly I became  clear and I enjoyed this as an experience. The video part was really interesting,and expressing our thoughts on that exact moment  was even more interesting. Having a child testing us on what teachers we are going to be made me realize many things of what i want to do a teacher. What I will do as a teacher is for sure applying this method for my students. So what is constructivism?  Constructivism is a learning theory that emphasizes student agency through self-guided exploration, reflection, and evaluation. What constructivism allows is to make students go get the information needed through internet, books, and magazines and preceding all the information by themselves. What I found interesting in this lesion is the comparison between old ways of teaching and the new models. This kind of self-learning is more adaptable by young teachers who don’t seem to mind to leave the floor and let their students shine and show all their talents in teaching. On the contrary old teachers like the old methods where the teacher is the resource, the monitor the prompter and the students just take notes and it is asked just sometimes not all the times. When I first saw the lesson about Multimedia Intelligence multimedia I never thought about it as a self-assessment process that individuals can identify their unique smarts and translate this information to enhance their intellectual performance, career development and personal satisfaction. I never heard about Gardner theory which left me speechless. I never thought that beside I.Q tests there could have been a more developed structure of measuring the human intelligence in 8 types of human intelligences, each representing different ways where we process information. Understanding these 8 intelligences will more accurately account for the broad range of human potential in children and adults.
